Waterford Public Schools has an immediate vacancy for a team-oriented individual. The Executive Administrative Assistant to the Director of Human Resources is a non-bargaining unit, 12 month position. This position is a critical member of the Human Resources Office and responsible for supporting a fast-paced Human Resources office. In this role, you must have the ability to provide high-level administrative support of a complex and sensitive nature. The successful candidate will have excellent judgement, the ability to juggle competing priorities, remain accurate, and possess above average technology and organizational skills.
This role provides direct support with daily HR responsibilities and also assists with the coordination of HR functions. FMLA experience is beneficial but is not required. Must be able to accurately develop and proof-read communications, such as staff handbooks, orientation and recruitment materials, newsletters and general reports and correspondence. The Executive Administrative Assistant coordinates wellness events and also assists with recruitment fairs.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma required. College desired.
Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative or executive assistant experience
HR and/or school district experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage the workflow of a Human Resources Office
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with a multitude of stakeholders, including staff, Board members, elected officials, and community partners
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Ability to handle important work accurately and efficiently while meeting deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
High-level of skill in the areas of software and technology
TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
Google, Canva, Paycom experience preferred.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: At will Non-Bargaining Unit position per individual contract. Annual salary $50,000-60,000
dependent on experience and qualifications. Full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Municipal Pension) offered.
